The person responsible for this attack on both Led Zeppelin and ventriloquism is my friend Pete Sheehy. We went to Antioch College together, and Popular 1 readers may remember him for a piece he wrote about Mia Zapata in the Feb. 2008 issue, entitled “The Mezquía Buzzing in My Ear”.
Pete is a talented writer, boxer and cab driver, so couldn’t he just leave it at that? Apparently not. It’s nice to see he’s still up to no good.
