Ugh. It’s officially begun: the weeks of being forced to listen to crappy Christmas songs, as interpreted by your favorite crappy pop/R&B singers, while you do your Christmas shopping. Or, in my case, waiting an eternity in Tezenis for the cashier to fix her mistake when she overcharged me for my underwear. One thing I know I won’t be buying anyone for Christmas? That awful CD.
(For my local readers: “Drek” is Yiddish for “shit”. It is one of the most useful and beautiful words in the English language… especially around this time of the year.)
