Okay, today I’ve got a million things to do and I really can’t spend all day talking or arguing about anything important, and I’m gonna prove it with the topic I’ve chosen for today:
I don’t understand the manía (hatred) that some people in this country (Spain) have towards Penelope Cruz. I’m not a huge fan myself, but she’s a good actress, she’s sexy, and she has incredible hair and a culo to die for. (As well as wonderful ta-tas. Are they fake? I haven’t been able to tell; therefore, who cares?)
What’s the big deal? She’s just a movie star. What should she be doing differently? Why do people get so angry when she comes on screen? Their excuse is usually, “Oh, I’m so sick of seeing her,” but I think it goes beyond that. What’s the real reason? Are they mad it isn’t them up there? Or are they angry that it’s not their faces buried in her ta-tas and culo?
Please, let me know. I’ll go first: every time I see Penelope Cruz in a movie, I start to feel horrible about my hair. But that’s as far as it goes. I don’t hate her for it, fer Chrissakes. I just hate my hair. –Okay, and usually the script too, but that’s not her fault.
So I guess this is my plea for sanity: Stop hating Penelope, and start hating yourself. It’s a healthier way to be.

Rachel you´ve made me laugh out loud with your last line! Again I agree, Pen has great hair! Thanks for making me laugh
I love Penny and absolutly her ta-tas (ja, ja, ja), before i see them in jamón, jamón …
She is a really nice girl and i’m happy with her success in USA.
I hate the fucking Bardem … killed it … ja, ja, ja
I LOVE the fucking Bardem! Mm, mm, mm, mm, MMMM!
I confess to see a little Tele 5 Berlusconi inspiration . But the other day I held only ten minutes watching most successful Pedro Almodovar: ‘Volver’ Volver. Sorry for star Pe because she can’t sing in this movie. The critics rewarded her performance because they love the neighborhood Vallecas folklore. But She is Good for Samsun her hair style spots
Rachel, what is that thing you have with your hair? Your hair looks OK and Penelope has nice hair but also extensions. I am sure she also has frizzy days :0. We spaniards are just jealous. Envy is our national sport.
I used to hate her some 4 or 5 years ago, but somehow, one day, I found her irresistible, and it was in a movie called Woman on Top. I’m not Spanish, though I’ve been living here for the last 24 years, so I think my hate had something to do with my age.
But yes, it’s very common here to hate, or only dislike, people who is successful. Her voice sounds to me the same as some English actresses, so what? Just watch one or two Alfred Hitchock or Ken Loach movies’ with common people, they sound terrible. And about her private life she’s always kept it private, it’s not her fault that the media is always chasing her.
Cuando la vean en Woman on Top, Elegy, The Good Night, Chromophobia, The man with rain in his shoes, Head in the Clouds y Noel, por ejemplo, me dicen si la siguen odiando.
I don’t think she’s a good actress: that’s pretty objective, no matter how many prices she get, because we all know how those things work
I don’t think she’s sexy: that’s, of course, only personal taste, but it should be objetive too!
Culo? Ta-tas? Really? Look around you, you’ll easily see something better. No comments about the hair
I think she’s just a mediocre, slightly attractive actress, who’s made it to hollywood thanks to the marketing and problably some blowing. Do I hate her for it? Not really. But I do hate the media overexposure, the unfairness of the whole thing with other actresses (better and more beautiful -if that’s really a point-), the fact that she think she’s sexy, her lack of intelligence when she speaks, her diva ways, etc.
Do Spanish people hate those who made it? I don’t think so, but we can not stand (at least, I can’t) those with big egos. Or those with big egos, who doesn’t really make it (Fernando Alonso), or that make it but doesn’t have any talent and are completely overrated (Amenabar). You can have a big ego if you’re the best (Axl Rose). You’ll probably have to deal with the consequences on the way down, but at least you had your fun and you deserved it. But having a big ego if you’re nobody makes you just a clown and you deserve to be laughed at.
And I think it’s definitely healthier hating other people than hating yourself
I’m no artist, but I drew this picture of Penelope using ONLY A MOUSE. Let me see YOU draw a picture of Penelope Cruz — or anybody — only using a mouse. Come on, Bitch. Bring it on. Show me what you can do.
Bye and good luck, youre great.
A mi me atrae.
