“The Man Show” was created by Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla for Comedy Central in 1999. As I said in my earlier post, when the show came out, I really, really didn’t like it.
“The Man Show” supposedly played with the idea of sexism and machismo. However, to me, at the time, it seemed to glorify sexism instead of satirize it, and I guess that’s why I didn’t find it funny.
But really, who knows why we thought the way we did 10 years ago? “The Man Show” had some very funny sketches, like this one, where Adam goes on a romantic date with his mother.
Or this one, where Jimmy and Adam visit Snoop Dogg:
Jimmy: “I had my bitch bake you some muffins.” Hilarious.
