Feelin’ good, or feelin’ lonely Feelin’ up, or feelin’ down Come to Rachel’s Late Nite Music Lounge! (You don’t even have to get out of bed.)
Do you like parties in theory but not in practice? Do you ever force yourself to get out of the house purely out of fear of missing out, only to end up bored or annoyed once you’re there?
Do you have no social skills? Or do you just prefer to practice your alcoholism in private?
Whatever the hell your problem is, Rachel’s Late Nite Music Lounge is for you!

At Late Nite Music Lounge, the party comes to you. You don’t even have to leave your bed! How wonderful to be able to associate with the only person whom you really feel comfortable with: yourself. So how does it work? Each week, Rachel will announce a new episode of Late Nite Music Lounge on her Twitter and Facebook page. Then simply tune in right here on Rachel’s blog.

RACHEL’S LATE NITE MUSIC LOUNGE

Love this idea! With the time difference and kids, I may actually be able to stay up late enough to catch it. Can’t wait to see what comes next. You should totally create your own unique time capsule–if you haven’t done it already.
Hi there!
¿qué tal “I love Louisa” de la peli “The Band Wagon”?.
Me gustó mucho!
Bueno voy a intentar de nuevo con una sugerencia un poco menos aguda, “perfect day” de Lou Reed, o tengo dos de Johnny Cash “Man in Black” y “God’s Gonna Cut You Down”, uf no se que me pasa hoy, que canciones mas tristes, bueno para arreglarlo voya sugerir “Always Look on the bright side of life”
Buenas sugerencias! I like ‘em all. De hecho, solía tocar “Perfect Day” hace años.
Can your late nite music lounge be like a weekly Sunday evening kind of thing like those Disney Movies from back in the day? Sunday evening needs you.
Seriously. When is the next installment? I’m hooked.
I apologize for letting you down by not being more consistent! Sunday nites would be an ideal time, wouldn’t it? I have one cooking; I’m hoping to pop it out next week. Thanks for the feedback and the much appreciated nudging!
Did I miss it? Not to put any pressure or anything, but I totally enjoy what you do with the Late Nite Music Lounge. It is such a simple highlight to my day.
You didn’t miss it but THANKS for putting pressure on me. (yes you are, and I appreciate it! Otherwise I don’t know if anyone cares.) I’ve been on semi-vacation and haven’t been able to get to my piano, but I do have at least a couple of lounges prepared and up my sleeve and waiting to record. It’s been tough getting the rhythm steady but I will work on it and hopefully have something up by the end of next week. My sincere apologies for the long delays.
You do what you do and get back to us when you feel the most inspired. Folks will still be around. Just know that you are appreciated just by being you.
Hey! Hey! Hey! Haven’t stopped by in awhile, needed a smile and remembered the late night music lounge. Your stories and chats are good too.
I went from teaching children to teaching adults that make children much easier to tolerate. These adults (not all of them–mind you) seem to want to interject everything and everyone around them into a Jerry Springer show. When I taught middle school, I was hoping to make connections and offer some kind of hope besides the lives that are displayed on the Jerry Springer Show. I can’t save them all because there are too many of them. I am now teaching adult versions of middle school students, it’s hard, and I am going to keep going because that is why I became a teacher–to help those that need it the most.
Maybe one of your late night music/chat thingies can put some funny imagery into my head that I can hopefully recall during those trying times and allow me to smile at a time when the images in my head want to punch someone in the face.
